D. To see future stars develop under the supervision and leadership of people with strong leadership skills and life values
E. To see more and more young people play sport and become more active in outdoor activities.

G. To keep children occupied in constructive and meaningful activities during the weekends and school holidays
H. To have a big impact on sport in South Africa
Where do we come from?
Change A Nation was started in January 2009 when some young people decided to change their communities by going out to their local parks and playing fields. Soon there where children from all over their community joining them on these fields and parks. These young people then realized the potential a project like this would have to change the lives of people and communities across South Africa and the world. The concept was easy and effective and anybody could get involved. These young people got together at the SU offices in Gauteng North. Under the leadership of H van der Westhuysen they started to put together this project. As they shared their vision with others ,the response that they received about the project was overwhelming. The project has since grown to communities around South Africa and more and more people are getting involved on a weekly basis.
